Let's chat about design.
The beauty of asymmetry. I make hand knits to sell at two local farmers markets. Originally my only purpose was to use up leftover yarn from the sweaters that I made. Next it was to use up yarn that I purchased to make hats to sell. Now it is to sell the samples of my original pattern designs. I have an entire tote of just head coverings and really don't have room for many more. At some point a few years ago I was tired of symmetry and dreamed this up. The Green hat to the left is an earlier version where I changed the way the main cable crossed and did NOT bind off in pattern. I didn't like it. Not enough to rip it out mind you, but the picture to the right shows how spectacular binding off in pattern looks.
